Cocktails

We would prefer that you enjoy Dalsland gin as it is, pure, as an avec. But of course there are different reasons and festive moments to want to drink it as an ingredient in a cocktail. ​ ​ Below you will find different suggestions based on Dalsland.

Levina "66

(In 2017 we won the food craft competition in Glupsk, Not Quite in Fengersfors with the first "Levina Johanna apple cider")
 

Ingredients

4.5 cl Dalslands Dry Gin

1.5 cl lemon juice

1 cl sugar syrup

top up with CalvaDal apple cider ( www.calvadal.com ).
Serve Levina "66 in a champagne glass

Dalslands Pilgrim's Negroni

(Based on the Dalslands pilgrimage route that was used by pilgrims from different countries that brought their own ingredients)

Ingredients

4.5 cl Dalslands Dry Gin

1.5 cl Martini Sweet Vermouth

1.5 cl Jägermeister

1.5 cl Italian bitter liqueur ​

Serve in your oldest glass

Vänern's Gin

(Main ingredient is Vänerns lake water)

Ingredients

4.5 cl Dalslands 5959 Gin (with roasted lemons) 1 tsp Vänernvatten / 1 ice cube from Vänern ​ Serve in a cognac cup

Dove's Raspberry

(we got a great tip about a light, simple and
really good cocktail that you can enjoy in the summer garden)


Ingredients
4.5 cl Dalslands Pink Gin
An ice cube from Lake Vänern
A raspberry from your own garden ​ Serve in a 60s vintage glass

Beachcomber

(At Edsleskogs Strand you will find the world's best honey)

Ingredients

4.5 cl Dry Gin

2 tsp Edsleskogs honey

3 cl squeezed lemon juice ​

Serve in a whiskey glass

Lingroni from Öjentorpskök

(Main ingredient lingonberries from your own garden)

Ingredients

3cl Edsleskog pinkgin

3cl Campari bitters

3cl hard reduced lingonberry lager (which replaces sweet red Vermont in the original recipe for a Nigroni)

2 drops of angustura bitters and an orange peel ​ Serve in your favorite glass
